Role synopsis:

The Master Data Analyst is a key member of the Supply Chain responsible for Data Object setup & dynamic maintenance. As the Master Data Analyst, you will interface with management to understand opportunities to enhance collection and statistical analysis of data to drive key manufacturing metrics associated with quality, efficiency, cost and continuous improvement.

Key accountabilities:

  • Responsible for setup & dynamic maintenance of data objects including control cycles, labels database, scrap factors, routings, cycle times, run rates, PCTP and etc.

  • Update and maintain plant data objects in X-team file supporting PLA team

  • Analyses of production data to lead plant CI activities.

  • Reconciliation of production variances with finance.

  • Support analysis of supplier performance with local data.

  • Build BW reports as needed to enable meaningful analysis and summary of data for plant management.

  • Interface with other departments within the organization to guide development of appropriate statistical analysis of data, tools and metrics.

  • Statistical analysis, monitoring and reporting business stability metrics and plant KPIs.

  • Balances and reconciles raw material and product inventory discrepancies and makes necessary production posting adjustments to correct inventories.

  • Performs various Inventory Management duties and routine month end close activities as defined by procedures and business rules.

  • Investigate and determine the root cause for SAP posting errors.

  • Execute changes to SAP master data (e.g. customer, vendor, materials etc.) as approved by the business

  • Coordinate material and finish products master data setup, validations and periodic maintenance

  • Perform regular business related activities e.g. price and contracts updates, approval schemes

  • System monitoring and user management related activities

  • Handles all rebrand data changes and tracks customer material master

  • Executes updates on MRP master data

  • Create quires in order to track data changes

  • Participate in projects and initiatives across multiple functional areas and regions

  • Work with business units and process experts to resolve master data issues

  • Ensure data quality, compliance and consistency of master data across business systems

  • Support the business with required procedures, submit incidents and change requests when needed

  • Assist business process experts in defining standard operating procedures, process flows and related documentation

Essential Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, or related discipline or a minimum of five years of experience in Supply Chain, logistics, or Planning.

Desirable criteria and qualifications:

  • Experience working in SAP Master Data

  • APICS or CSCMP certification

  • Knowledge of production processes within BP manufacturing plants is a plus

  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems set up and maintenance

Essential experience and job requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in supply chain planning or logistics

  • 1-2 years of experience in SAP

  • Strong knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with staff at all levels

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

  • Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional supply chain partners
